End of term arrangements: Friday, 18th December 2020

Outlining the details for the end of term and the return after the Christmas break

Dear Parent/Carer,

Friday, 18th December is the last day of term at St Anne's owing to  INSET days on Monday 21st and Tuesday 22nd December.

Friday 18th December is a non-uniform day for students if they bring in £1 for a charitable donation.  Form time and assembly will go ahead as normal, as will lessons 1-3.  Lunch will take place as usual.  Lesson 4 will be spent in form groups and we will be giving all students a small gift to take away with them for the holidays towards the end of that session.

At 14:00, key stage 3 (years 7, 8 and 9) will be dismissed followed by key stage 4 (year 10 and 11) at 14:05.

School reopens on Thursday, 7th January 2020 to all students.

We will be running a trial system of an attempt to safely reopen our canteen at breaktimes before Christmas on Friday, 11th December for one breaktime only to see how our approach works - students will be able to purchase food at morning break.  If this can be done really safely and effectively, I will write to you with an update for the return in January.

The end of term newsletter will come out in the final week of term.

Yours in Christ
