An update regarding school places for critical workers and vulnerable children
Monday, 1st February 2021
The number of students accessing school at this point in time is starting to reach a level where it is placing strain on our ability to offer both in-school and remote learning at the same time, as well as increasing the risk of virus transmission.
I would take this opportunity to remind you once again that the guidance from the Department for Education is as follows:
"Children with at least one parent or carer who is a critical worker can go to school or college if required, but parents and carers should keep their children at home if they can."
The more children accessing school, the greater the chance of virus transmission and the greater chance of both staff and student illness. We are keeping staff in our prayers who are currently absent with long covid.
If you are able to keep your child at home, then you should, and you should let us know as soon as possible.
Yours in Christ
