About Us

Welcome to St Anne’s!

A Catholic school welcomes those of all faiths and none, yet our mission is rooted in the Catholicity of the school.  Pope Francis said “If we wish to lead a dignified and fulfilling life, we have to reach out to others and seek their good” (Evangelii Gaudium) and through the care that we will provide, we hope you will grow in confidence that St Anne’s will always have its community’s best interests at heart.

What do we want our students to be able to do by the time they leave school?

We want all students, regardless of background or starting point, to be educated, ready for the world of work and to have developed them as human beings and as Christians, or as non-Christians with an awareness of Christian faith.

We want our students to have freedom of thought and to work independently of teachers, and we will intervene only when absolutely necessary.

We want our students to serve wider society, aware of their place in it and of the importance of service to others.

We will do this by the holistic development of the child, helping them to reach their full, human potential.

We will do this by fulfilling our school motto: “To Know, Love and Serve God”, or “In omnibus amare et servire Domino”.

"With Christ at the centre of all that it is and does"
